Latest Updates:
  • New planning committee next year

We are pleased to report that we have volunteers to take over and ensure the future of the fly in.  More details will be available at the fly in.

  • Registration fee increase to $25 per person

The registration fee will be $25 per person this year.  This increase (from $20) is necessary to cover additional costs associated with  Killarney Mountain Lodge.

  • Over 50 registered attendees at this point

Looks like it will be a great turnout this year.
Come join us.

  • Other bits of information

On Saturday afternoon (note day change from Friday), weather permitting, a group fly out is being planned to beautiful Providence Bay on Manitoulin Island.  https://www.manitoulintourism.com/portfolio/providence-bay/ .  More details at the fly in.

The fish fry lunch will be on Saturday.

The afternoon social will be held late Friday afternoon  (note day change from Saturday) in Canada House, the new convention center.  Due to liquor licensing regulations, outside beverages will not be permitted. Beverages will be provided.

Carol-Anne Fisher will again be leading Yoga sessions this year. Days and times to be determined. Thank you Carol-Anne.

This year's theme will be 'A trip down memory lane'. The fly-in has been held for over 25 years, providing so many of us with wonderful memories. If you have any memorabilia from previous years (videos, photos, etc.), please bring them along to share.  Companions, please bring memorable craft creations from previous years.

The fly-in will continue with the unstructured and informal approach we've had in the last few years.  As usual, pilot sessions will provide the opportunity to discuss flying techniques, maintenance tips and general mechanical airworthiness issues.

Pilots, we are always looking for discussion topics. If you have any suggestions, please email them to us. Please bring along a discussion topic.  It can be a question, something you experienced,  something new that you’ve purchased, or...?

We are also looking for evening presentations.  If you'd like to share photos and tell us about a flying adventure that you've had, please let us know.

Accommodation is booking up, but there is still availability at Killarney Mountain Lodge https://killarney.com/  (705) 287-2242 or 1-800-461-1117.  Remember to mention that you are attending the fly in.

Other accommodation options exist in the town of Killarney (a 10 minute walk away).  One of which is The Sportsman's Inn https://sportsmansinn.ca/

Stay tuned for more updates and hope to see you there.
